About the Role

Brewed Awakenings is looking for friendly, energetic, and dependable people to join our Johnston team as Front of House Baristas.

This is a great opportunity for students, recent graduates, or anyone looking to build experience in hospitality and customer service. Previous barista experience is not required—we're looking for people with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. We'll teach you the rest.

As a Front of House Barista, you'll be one of the first people our guests interact with. You'll help create the welcoming, upbeat experience Brewed Awakenings is known for while learning valuable skills in customer service, teamwork, food and beverage preparation, and daily café operations.

What You'll Do

Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service

Take orders accurately and efficiently

Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, and other beverages

Learn our menu and help guests find something they'll enjoy

Handle transactions and operate the point-of-sale system

Serve food and beverages while maintaining quality and presentation standards

Keep the café, counter, and guest areas clean, organized, and stocked

Work closely with your teammates during busy shifts

Follow food safety, cleanliness, and company standards

Help create a positive experience that keeps guests coming back
