COD On-Campus Internship Opportunity at the Dreamer Resource Center

This opportunity requires the applicant to take at least 2 credits of Work experience and to complete 150 hours at the Dreamer Resource Center for the Fall 2026 Semester. This position will be in Palm Desert Campus. This is an unpaid internship, but students may be eligible for a $2,400 scholarship. Students must have demonstrated financial need according to the student’s award letter with the Financial Aid Office. Job Description:
- Assist with workshops, and on-campus events.
- Research scholarships opportunities and resources/tools to improve scholarship applications.
- Help students with scholarship applications. CA Dream Act Application, AB-540 form, Financial Aid, and registration Information.
- Provide support to Outreach Specialist by creating and maintaining social media page with supervisor approval.
- Review matriculation steps with students
- Maintain engagement with peers, and staff.
- Create a welcoming environment to students by greeting and participating.
- Assist with special projects and assignments.
- Call and email students in regard to specific inquires.
- Communicate in English and Spanish
