Taurus Financial is a boutique wealth management firm based in Jersey City, NJ. We're a small, close-knit team looking for a creative, detail-oriented analyst to help grow our presence and voice online.
About the Role
We're looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern / Analyst to help build and execute Taurus Financial's content strategy across various social media platforms including LinkedIn, Youtube, and so on. This role is a great fit for someone interested in the intersection of finance, communications, and digital marketing, and who wants hands-on experience at a growing RIA.
Responsibilities
- Draft, schedule, and help manage content across LinkedIn and other social platforms
- Support development of firm newsletters, client-facing communications, and marketing collateral
- Help translate complex financial topics into clear, engaging, compliant content for a general audience
- Track engagement metrics and help refine content strategy based on performance
- Assist with design/formatting of graphics, slides, and video content as needed
Qualifications
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, Business, or a related field (current students need to be in their Senior year)
- Live in or able to relocate to the NJ/NY area
- Strong writing skills with an ability to adapt tone for different audiences
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Youtube, Instagram, or other social platforms from a professional/brand perspective
- Comfortable with design tools such as Canva, Adobe, or similar
- Foundational finance knowledge (preferred)
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (strongly preferred)
Compensation
- Intern Compensation: Unpaid
- Full-Time Analyst Compensation: Negotiable depending on experience level
