Speech Therapist Clinical Fellow & SLPA (Speech Language Pathologist Assistants

Build a Great Career (subsidized accommodation for the right candidate)

Your professional growth

At Brain & Body Autism Center (BBAC), we care deeply about the kind of professional you will become, not just the work you do today. We invest in your long-term professional growth through hands-on mentorship, specialized training, and professional certifications. When we believe a training will help you grow as a clinician, BBAC covers the cost in full.

Our goal is not simply to hire great therapists, but to develop exceptional clinicians who continue learning, questioning, and expanding what is possible in autism intervention.  Working at BBAC will transform you as a clinician. You'll gain a deep understanding of autism that extends well beyond speech and language. Through our neuroscience-based, interdisciplinary approach, you'll learn how movement, motor planning, sensory processing, cognition, communication, and social development are intricately connected. You'll develop skills and perspectives that are rarely taught in graduate programs, becoming a more effective therapist, a more thoughtful clinician and build a great career ahead.

Clinical work

You'll do more than provide therapy - you'll help change the trajectory of a child's life. You'll celebrate first words, first friendships, first successful days in a mainstream classroom, and the countless milestones that shape a child's future. Here, you'll have the rare opportunity to follow children over many years, witnessing their growth into confident, independent adolescents and young adults.

Building meaningful personal relationship

BBAC is more than a workplace - it's a community. You'll build meaningful, lasting relationships with colleagues, and families who share a common purpose. One of the things we are most proud of is that everyone who has worked with our program, in any capacity, remains part of the BBAC family. Whether they moved across the country, pursued different careers, or advanced professionally, they continue to stay connected, support one another, and remain an important part of our community across distance and time.

About Brain & Body Autism Center

BBAC is not a traditional speech therapy clinic. We are a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary developmental program built on the neurobiology of autism and child development. Our integrated model combines Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, movement, gymnastics, music, piano, academics, school support, and life skills into one cohesive, child-centered program.

We intentionally keep our program small because meaningful change happens through deep relationships, individualized care, and close collaboration. Approximately 70% of children who begin our program early transition into mainstream education, making BBAC one of the few places where clinicians can truly witness long-term transformation.

Help Build the Future of Autism Intervention

This is an exciting time to join BBAC.

This fall, we're launching a collaborative inclusion program with a private school to develop innovative models for successfully mainstreaming neurodiverse students.

We're also developing an AI-powered Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) platform, where clinicians collaborate directly with engineers and designers to shape the future of communication technology using real clinical insight.

If you're excited about creating new solutions, not simply following existing therapy frameworks, you'll feel at home here.
