Position Overview

The Color Development & Laboratory Technician plays an important role in developing, testing, and evaluating color solutions for our customers. Working alongside experienced technical professionals, you'll help create color matches, prepare samples, conduct testing, and support quality and manufacturing activities.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of technical work, creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning.

No previous plastics or color industry experience is required. We provide training and are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory samples and color formulations
• Assist with color matching and color development projects
• Produce and evaluate color samples
• Conduct product testing and document results
• Operate laboratory and testing equipment
• Support quality control activities and manufacturing trials
• Evaluate products against customer specifications
• Maintain accurate records and laboratory documentation
• Follow safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures
• Collaborate with technical, manufacturing, customer service, and sales teams
• Contribute ideas for improving products, processes, and efficiency

Education & Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Background in science, engineering, manufacturing, business, analytics, or a related field is a plus
• Laboratory, manufacturing, internship, research, or quality experience is helpful but not required
• Curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are more important than industry experience
