Patient Technician

Job description:
We are seeking a full-time Patient Technician to join our growing dermatology team in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Dermatology experience is a strong plus but not required. The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Take and document patient histories and vital signs
- Enter visit details into Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Enter medication, laboratory, pathology, and radiology orders
- Assist with diagnostic testing and specimen preparation
- Prepare exam rooms and patients for examinations and procedures
- Assist providers during exams and dermatologic procedures
- Scribe and support physicians and physician assistants during patient visits
- Administer treatments and medications as ordered
- Clean, sterilize instruments, and restock exam rooms and supplies
- Manage patient flow and scheduling
- Answer phones and assist with appointment scheduling
Qualifications
- No experience needed--training provided
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Energetic, reliable, and motivated with a strong work ethic
