Registered Dietitian (RD)

Triboro Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our interdisciplinary care team in the Bronx, NY. What You’ll Do

As a Registered Dietitian, you will work closely with nursing, medical, dietary, and rehabilitation teams to provide high-quality nutritional care to our residents. Responsibilities include:

• Assess and monitor residents’ nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition care plans
• Identify and address nutritional concerns, including weight changes, skin integrity, and nutrition support needs
• Educate residents, families, and staff on nutrition and diet modifications
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and collaborate with clinical team members
• Monitor meal service and ensure prescribed diets and modifications are followed
• Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists on appropriate diets for residents with dysphagia
• Review menus and diet changes for compliance with facility policies and state and federal guidelines
• Maintain accurate diet orders and menu changes using computer-based menu software
• Coordinate nutrition supplements and supplies with vendors and department leaders
• Conduct routine nutrition-related audits and monitor compliance with weight-management policies
• Provide leadership and support to the dietary team to promote excellent resident care

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
• Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal healthcare guidelines
• Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) and computer-based menu systems
