We are actively hiring motivated health science, pre-med, nursing, and PA students who want direct patient experience and real-world responsibilities to supercharge their healthcare resumes.

While the majority of trips are within the 5 boroughs, candidates must be willing to travel to all areas CaMo services. For trips outside the 5 boroughs, CaMo provides covered car service to transport you to the facility and safely back to the nearest transit hub.
What You Will Do
- Facility Handoffs: Arrive early to hospital or rehab units, coordinate directly with discharge nurses/case managers, and guide patients smoothly to pre-arranged transit.
- Home Settling: Accompany patients into their residences to ensure they are physically safe, comfortable, and settled post-discharge (when required)
- Patient Advocacy: Communicate proactively with facility staff and CaMo dispatch to ensure safe transport.
- Content Creation (3x/Month): Capture short-form video content (TikTok/Reels style) sharing a "Day in the Life," patient tips, or shift reflections—strictly respecting patient privacy and HIPAA guidelines.
Who Should Apply
Current undergraduate or graduate students in Nursing, Pre-Med, Public Health, Physical Therapy, PA, or Health Sciences (or recent gap-year graduates).
Age & Tech: 21+ years old with a valid government ID and a smartphone with a high-quality camera.
Geographic Flexibility: Open to traveling across the 5 boroughs and surrounding service areas as needed (no personal car required).
Availability: Candidates must have at least two dedicated 4-hour availability windows during core discharge hours (Monday–Saturday, 9 AM – 6 PM).
Communication: Highly punctual, self-motivated, and proactive under pressure.
Compliance: Must pass a standard background check and onboarding documentation.
How Shift Scheduling Works (Example)
During onboarding, you will submit your semester class schedule and select fixed Availability Blocks (e.g., Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9AM – 5 PM). Shift dispatches are matched directly to your open windows so work never interferes with exams or classes.
