We are seeking a curious, resourceful computer science student to help us identify, develop, and implement artificial intelligence processes throughout our business.

Position Overview

The AI & Computer Science Intern will work with members of our leadership and operations teams to evaluate current workflows and identify opportunities where AI, automation, and other technology solutions could improve efficiency, consistency, and client service.

This is not simply a coding position. The ideal candidate will be able to understand how people work, recognize repetitive or inefficient processes, research possible solutions, and help turn ideas into practical tools that our team can use.

Because we operate in the financial services industry, the intern must also understand the importance of data privacy, cybersecurity, accuracy, and appropriate human oversight.

Responsibilities

Learn and document current business processes across departments

Identify repetitive tasks and workflow inefficiencies that may benefit from AI or automation

Research AI platforms, automation tools, integrations, and emerging technologies

Help create and test internal AI-assisted workflows

Develop prototypes, scripts, prompts, templates, or lightweight applications

Assist with connecting approved technology platforms through integrations or APIs

Create clear instructions and training materials for employees

Help team members adopt new tools and processes

Test solutions for accuracy, usability, security, and reliability

Track the results of implemented processes and recommend improvements

Follow all company policies regarding confidential client and business information

Potential Projects

Projects may include:

Automating repetitive administrative tasks

Improving internal knowledge management and information retrieval

Creating AI-assisted meeting preparation and follow-up processes

Developing internal chatbots or employee resource tools

Organizing and summarizing business data

Improving documentation and standard operating procedures

Exploring responsible uses of AI in marketing, operations, recruiting, and client service

Evaluating software integrations and workflow automation opportunities

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, information systems, data science, software engineering, or a related field

Strong interest in artificial intelligence, automation, and business technology

Comfortable learning new software and troubleshooting technical issues

Able to explain technical concepts in clear, nontechnical language

Strong problem-solving and research skills

Organized, dependable, and attentive to detail

Willing to ask questions and collaborate with employees in different roles

Able to handle confidential information with discretion

Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Zapier, Make, APIs, Python, or similar platforms is helpful but not required
