Rehabilitation Aide

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Rehabilitation Aide to join our clinical team. This entry-level position is ideal for undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in Kinesiology, Pre-Medicine, Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Pre-Physical Therapy, or related health sciences. You will work directly under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists (PTs) and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), gaining valuable direct patient care experience, clinical observation hours, and mentorship for graduate school applications.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Assistance: Prepare treatment areas and assist therapists in guiding patients through prescribed therapeutic exercise programs 

Clinic Operations: Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized treatment tables, exercise gear, and clinical equipment between patient sessions.

Front Desk Support: Assist with patient scheduling, intake paperwork, answering clinic phones, and tracking patient flow.

Equipment Care: Monitor and restock clinical supplies (linens, bands, exercise gear) and report equipment maintenance needs.

Patient Engagement: Provide a warm, encouraging environment while helping track patient attendance and basic exercise compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Kinesiology, Pre-Med, Pre-PT/PTA, Athletic Training, or Exercise Science program.

Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Skills: Solid understanding of human anatomy and body mechanics; strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, demonstrate proper exercise form, and safely assist patients (lifting up to 35-50 lbs).

Reliability: Strong punctuality and team-first attitude in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
