We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Administrator to provide specialized network and cybersecurity support. In this role, you will help maintain secure, compliant, and modern network infrastructures, address operational challenges, manage hardware lifecycles, and execute critical security service requests.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Security Operations: Review and execute Firewall Service Requests (FSRs), resolve break-fix incidents, and process formal change requests.
  • Infrastructure Modernization: Facilitate the decommissioning and recurring refresh of End-of-Life (EOL) network and firewall hardware.
  • Compliance & Governance: Implement and maintain security controls and configurations to ensure alignment with IRS, FBI, and CJIS security standards.
  • Firewall & Network Administration: Perform technical configuration, rule management, and troubleshooting for Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewall appliances.
  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (Zones, Security Policies, Site-to-Site VPN, NAT, and Threat Prevention).
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA Firewalls (Configuration, troubleshooting, rule management).
  • Strong foundational knowledge of general networking protocols, routing, subnetting, and the OSI model.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Vetting Requirements: Must be able to successfully pass comprehensive background checks (State, County, and Federal criminal checks, SSN verification, financial/credit review, and drug screening).
  • Location:Candidates must reside in Colorado and be open to occasional local travel/commuting if required
  • Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week, Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST)
  • On-Call / Maintenance: Rotating weekly on-call schedule and availability for scheduled after-hours maintenance windows.

 

Required / Desired Skills

  • Palo Alto Firewalls (Zones, Security Policies, S2S VPN, NAT, Threat Prevention) Required - 3 Years
  • Cisco ASA Firewalls (Configuration, rule management, legacy CLI/ASDM troubleshooting) Required - 3 Years
  • Network Fundamentals (Routing Protocols, Subnetting, OSI Model) Required - 3 Years
  • Firewall Service Requests (FSRs) & Change Management Required - 2 Years
  • Hardware Lifecycle / Decommissioning & EOL Refresh Required - 2 Years
  • Compliance Standards (IRS, FBI, CJIS Compliance) Required - 2 Years
