Jockey Driver (CDL Class A) - Union Position

DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY

Pay: $25.45/hour
Position Type: Full-Time Union Position
Multiple Openings Available in Johnstown, PA

Available Shifts

  • 1 Opening: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • 1 Opening: Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • 2 Openings: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Join Our Transportation & Logistics Team!

We are looking for dependable and safety-focused Jockey Drivers to support trailer movement and yard operations. In this role, you'll be responsible for safely moving trailers throughout the facility, maintaining trailer inventory, and ensuring efficient dock operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a CDL Class A license who enjoy working in a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment.

What You'll Do

  • Perform a detailed yard inspection at the beginning of each shift
  • Complete daily vehicle condition reports and required paperwork
  • Organize and maintain a clean, safe work area
  • Track trailer inventory and monitor raw material deliveries
  • Move trailers safely and efficiently on and off loading docks
  • Coordinate trailer movements to support production and shipping schedules
  • Follow all company safety procedures and transportation regulations

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid CDL Class A Driver's License
  • Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts as needed
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull 50-100 pounds
  • Ability to pass required ergonomic physical testing
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends when required
  • Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork
