Are you looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing management? We are seeking a Plant Manager in Training to work directly alongside our current Plant Manager and learn all aspects of plant operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop leadership, operations, and production management skills while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Train directly with the current Plant Manager on daily operations
- Assist with employee training and development
- Coordinate customer orders and production schedules
- Support tooling management and inventory needs
- Perform light maintenance on equipment and machinery
- Assist with machine operation and production activities as needed
- Monitor workflow and help ensure production goals are met
- Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
- Learn key aspects of plant leadership, scheduling, and team management
Qualifications
- Strong leadership potential and willingness to learn
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and management
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in manufacturing, production, maintenance, or supervision is a plus
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, motivated, and eager to grow into a management role
Schedule & Overtime
- Monday-Friday
- Start time: 7:00 AM
- End time varies between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM based on production needs
- Saturday overtime available (typically 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM)
- Overtime is available and encouraged
