Kay Dee Designs Inc. is a 60 year old family run business and one of the most recognized suppliers of kitchen textiles in the industry. 
We are seeking a creative, self-motivated individual to join our busy Kitchen Textiles Design Team.

Responsibilities: 
• Assist with designing collections-from initial concept or using licensed artwork, to production ready files for our kitchen textiles, which include towels, aprons, tabletop, & mitts. 
• Manipulate artwork based on current trends and customer requests. Clean, color separate, create repeats and build out art files. 
• Template and prepare final designs for sampling 
• Assist with product specs and with key account presentations.

Qualifications: 
• 1-3 years of design experience 
• Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, preferably majoring in Illustration or Textile Design 
(or equivalent work experience) 
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign 
• Detail orientated 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 
• Knowledge of printing processes, materials and trims including embroidery 
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines 
• Reliable, flexible, enthusiastic and able to work independently or as part of a team
