Laboratory Technician/Assistant (Samples/Entry Level/Recent Grads)

Pride Health/Russell Tobin is hiring a Laboratory Technician/Assistant to join a regulated laboratory team in Knoxville, TN.

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to support sample processing, laboratory operations, and cGMP compliance in a fast-paced testing environment. This 6-month contract opportunity is ideal for entry-level candidates looking to gain hands-on laboratory experience while working alongside experienced laboratory professionals.

Responsibilities Include:

• Receive, prepare, process, and organize laboratory samples for testing and storage.
• Operate laboratory equipment and computerized inventory management systems to track samples.
• Prepare laboratory materials and buffers while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, manage sample disposal, and follow EHS and cGMP procedures.
• Monitor laboratory supplies and support daily laboratory operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma required.
• Previous laboratory or sample processing experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn laboratory information systems.
• Knowledge of cGMP, laboratory safety, or regulated environments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Important Details:

• Employment Type: 6-month Contract opportunity.
• Schedule/Shift: First Shift, Monday–Friday.
• Location: Knoxville, TN — 100% On-site.
• Interview Process: One to two on-site interviews, including a laboratory tour. Candidates must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.
• Work Environment: Regulated laboratory environment requiring compliance with laboratory dress code, cGMP, and EHS safety procedures.
• Pay Range: $18.80/hr - $20/hr (based on experience).
