ETL Developer

We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions that support business intelligence, reporting, and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable ETL processes, working with relational databases, and ensuring the integrity, quality, and availability of enterprise data.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows and data pipelines.
  • Extract, transform, and load data from multiple internal and external data sources.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
  • Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot performance or data quality issues.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and database administrators to gather data requirements.
  • Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Document ETL processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
  • Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning initiatives.
  • Follow organizational standards for security, compliance, and data governance

 

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Relevant professional experience as an ETL or  Data Integration Developer, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Talend, DataStage, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience troubleshooting ETL failures and optimizing performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practice.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
