Responsibilities
- Accurately record patient medical history
- Take and document vital signs (BP, temperature, heart rate, etc.)
- Monitor patient progress and medication side effects
- Track fluid intake/output and maintain charts
- Assist patients with daily activities (eating, bathing, mobility)
- Administer medications, injections, enemas; clean and dress wounds
- Collect lab samples as assigned
- Provide emotional and psychological support
- Communicate with families for advice, comfort, and discharge instructions
Skills & Requirements
- Active RN license in Illinois or Wisconsin
- CPR/BLS certification
- Proven RN experience and ability to perform diverse care tasks
- Knowledge of hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Understanding of confidentiality and nursing best practices
- Excellent medical terminology knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Office and PointClickCare data entry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and compassionate approach
- Successful completion of RN license program
Preferred Experience: Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Memory Care
