PCC Kids Intern

Position Title:                      PCC Kids Intern

Reports To:                         Director of Family Ministries

Status:                                Part-Time, up to 12 hours/week at least until              December 2026 (potential for full-time hire in the future)

Salary/Rate:                       $20/hour

Position Overview

The PCC Kids Ministry Intern is a hands-on opportunity designed for individuals exploring a calling in children's or family ministry. This role offers meaningful ministry experience alongside intentional mentorship. The intern will meet regularly with their supervising leader for discipleship, coaching, and spiritual formation while actively serving in our kids' ministry environment.

As part of the PCC Kids team, the intern will support the Director of Children's Ministry and/or the Director of Family Ministries across a range of weekly responsibilities, from Sunday programming to event planning and ministry operations. This is a great fit for someone who is eager to learn, loves kids, and wants to grow in both skill and character in a ministry context.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with weekly set-up and tear-down for PCC Kids programming
  • Coordinate with PCC Kids and the Sunday Operations team to ensure smooth, efficient weekly services
  • Manage ministry supplies including media resources for Sunday services
  • Track and follow up with new families visiting PCC Kids
  • Update registration and family information in Planning Center.
  • Run weekly PCC Kids attendance reports.
  • Support the Director of Children's Ministry/Family Ministries with additional duties as needed

 

 

Basic personal responsibilities

Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pacific Crossroads Church (Colossians 3:23, 24). Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer and meditation.
