Community Specialist - $500 Sign On Bonus (Part Time)

Monarch NC, a provider of high-quality and trauma-informed care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness and substance use disorders, is seeking a dedicated Community Specialist to join our team in Lewisville, NC.

This is a part time position.  The work schedule is every other weekend, Saturday & Sunday, 7 AM - 9 PM.

***There is a $500 sign on bonus for this position!*** 

As a Community Specialist, you will develop a positive relationship with the person receiving services and their family in a work, home, school, or community setting while assisting them in achieving their personal dreams and goals as designated in the individual goal plans, as well as providing periodic relief to the caregiver.  You will serve as a resource for the person receiving services on community agencies, services, and supports that can meet identified needs/goals.  You will also facilitate person-centered, effective, positive relationships with the person receiving services using positive approaches that promote self-determination in all areas of life.

To qualify, candidates must have the following: 

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience working with adults with a mental health diagnosis and/or developmental disabilities.
